About

Niti Majethia
is a journalist and writer based in New York City.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Rhetoric and Writing
from The University of Texas at Austin
and a Master’s in Journalism
from CUNY’s Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.

She currently works as a full-time Lifestyle Reporter for
The Mirror US, The Express US and Irish Star.


JOURNALISM

Majethia began her journalism career in college,
reporting on fashion and lifestyle
for Spark Magazine in Austin, Texas.

In 2020, she completed a full-time internship
at The Austin Chronicle.

She went on to work as a Lifestyle & Culture Reporter
for The Indian Express in 2022,
and interned at Condé Nast Traveller in 2023.

More recently, in 2024,
she joined GQ Magazine as a fact-checker.


POETRY BOOKS

Majethia published her first poetry collection,
Eunoia, at the age of 17.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Austin, Texas,
she released her second book,
The Battle Cry: A Little Book of Comfort and Strength.


PUBLIC SPEAKING

Majethia has performed her poetry
at shows by RAW Artists in Austin, Texas.

In 2019, she was invited to the United Nations
to share her poetry on womanhood
for International Women’s Day.

She has also showcased her poetry on YouTube
with Awaken Words.


MARKETING

In 2021, Majethia worked full-time
as UPL’s Global Marketing Communications Coordinator.

She has also completed a Marketing internship at Disney+ Hotstar.
